Books, Game and Pain
Books: I managed to finish Urban Shaman a few days ago an i am indeed a fan. Thunderbird Falls in now the next in line wrt actual fiction book reading. My other book atm is Battlefield Earth, superior to the movie in many ways. I must say that i have a fondness for the way aliens are seen and interpreted through each other's eyes. He manages to avoid the humans in funny suits syndrome. They author might be a horrible person for Scientology, but this other Scifi work of is pretty decent. Oh, and i managed to find a relatively cheap soft cover copy of Anansi Boys which is after Thunderbird Falls reading-wise.
Game: I didn't enjoy myself too much at the October larp, i will admit. I was contemplating dropping out and made the decision to decide based on the November session. The game yesterday was great fun though. I made the decision to stay, atleast so long as the ST's are willing to keep me around.
Pain: Bloody grant proposal, why won't it write itself?
