I had been planning on purchasing a netbook for a while now; some kind of mobile computing for when I am on the go, in coffee shops or simply on the couch. It would permit more writing and more reading without increasing the time I spend in front of the desktop.
I bought one today at an excellent price. $299 for an Acer Aspire One with an 8 gig SSD hardrive and XP. It will take a little while to install and customize the thing, but should be good. It completes my computer needs for a long while. :)
