jagashWell, had some fun birding training yesterday morning which was rather helpful. I know almost nothing still, but now I can use the 'almost' qualifier. A large number of naturalists were there and their experience was frightening. I will be going to another two training sessions over the next two saturday mornings which should be good.
I tried to install the new version of Ubuntu and there were a few problems. Chief among them involved setting up the dual-screens. I sic'ed my father on the problem, techie that he is, and he mostly resolved things. Unfortunately, now I remember about the one file which I needed and promptly deleted. Ugg.
Generally good party last night though. With one exception, it was enjoyable. I was able to give people drives to and from said party which helped a number of people out. Also managed some good conversations in the process. I mean, I did wind up driving angry/depressed on the way home for various reasons, but it was 2am with no one else on the road and I made it home safely. It required a great deal of willpower to quash said feelings enough to drive without being negatively affected by said emotions. At the very least, my short sleep helped and Jodo should also be handy.
