One very big positive and one very big negative

The awesome: My little sister has gotten a letter of offer for a permanent job in Calgary, using her psych degree to help people with disabilities/injuries to return to the workplace. She managed to go from convocation to letter of offer in a span of 6 days which is damn impressive. I am delighted for her, though I admit that I have a small twinge of envy. She will also be moving in with her boyfriend which should be great for her.

The horrid: The canadian DCMA, copyright legislation, has just blossomed. It was carefully hidden in sync with the very public apology so that it would receive little notice.
