The Dinner, the Shift and the Chronograph

jagashI had a delightful evening last night when Angela was brought over to see the folks. Yes, i am a cruel fiend of a boyfriend. I might be forgiven though on account of the chocolate cake. :P
After seeing her off i did get some rest and woke bright and early for my shift at work. Yee gods, it was on the busy side. That wouldn't normally bother me if not for the fact that the person who closed the previous night didn't do her damn job _again_. She made another half hour worth of work by neglecting her duties. I mean, is is soo much to not leave your food in the booth and part of your paperwork out on the counter? Is it too hard to print off a few more reports, to bother selling (or even passing on) the easily sold tickets instead of canceling them (which hurts the booth in the paperwork). Really. I wound up writing the precise details including date, name and specifics so as to begin a paper trail. She is horribly inflexible and the only reason she is still around is that my boss is kind hearted to a point. We are starting to pass that point.
I also wound up getting a new alarm clock for myself and in the process, a new one for Angela. Yay for blue LED. :)
