Jan. 26th, 2006 06:20 pmMind if my character borrows some of your mooks for my schemes? I might have a way to cripple the rival bards' guild and weaken the rival mobsters in your path of future expansion if i play our cards right. I will write a message 'from the head of the bard guild' whom i despise and have it given to one of your men as a messenger. That messenger however, would accidentally run into one of the largest and most powerful criminal organization in the path of the Iron Masks. The message would mostly say: "Sure, i can help you in your expansion during the black moon so long as i can get control of all of the Inns and taverns in your territory." Then add on a list of a half-dozen bards whom would be supposed to be helping in the assault. Assign some of your 1st lvl thieves and random no-level ruffians to 'guard' said bards.
When the enemy organization tries to take down the bards, its a win win situation. Either my enemies are taken down quickly, or both of our enemies attack and possibly kill eachother. Im also planning on having one of these assaults take place on one of my more competant bards so that i can be there to defend 'my people' to further promote the Silver Lute.
