Good game, albeit poor timing on my part. Our noble pc's decided to pull out all of the stops (and powered thru part of the defences of the earthbound). That made for a nice little bit of chaos as the very sizable forces of the allies were shoved in very small manouvering space. Throw in the armies of evil cultists, the earthbound and the cultist leader. Yeah, they unloaded decent amounts of ordinance but the enemies are quite unfortunatly resiliant. We had to cut it part-way, but the next game will be deep in the fray. I just need to learn to use averages and general story-guesses rather then dice rolls for some of the npc vs npc conflicts.
Other non-gaming related issues. While m'lady was feeling ill last night, she was seemingly much better after a bit of food and rest. Busiest freeking sunday downtown in a long while it seemed. There was some kind of military? service over at the war memorial which led to closed streets. The busses were pack with active people, odd on a sunday morning. Even more unusual was the act of demolitions on bank and slater. You know the Bankok Noodle House + Second Cup at that location? Demolished this morning or possibly last night in preparation for a new building of some kind on that site. It simply appeared a touch odd to have such a dramatic change, from buildings to rubble in about the span of a day.
