Bodo delight

I just recieved by beautiful new Bo staff, tapered japanese white oak with a length of 6 feet. *smiles* Which brings my total weaponry to a Bo staff, Jo staff and a bokken with some rattan sticks to come.

I am a demiurge it seems

In addition to recieving my Bo staff, i was also hard at work with respect to my martial arts equipment. I threw in some gruesome modifications for my Jodo/Iaido bag, everything from a sewing on a salvaged belt loop to a belt attatchment with snaps to close the top and rubber padding at the base for safe contact with ashphalt.

It appears very frankenstein-ish, but it seems functional and that's all that matters in the end.


Oh, and a pressure cooker exploded in billowing steam (better that then alluminum shrapnel) in the kitchen today, about 30 minutes before lightning smote a tree across the road from us. Fate is funny sometimes.
