So annoying
Feb. 19th, 2007 11:52 pmI have spent about half of today (~8 hours) working on my some GIS work for the Geomatics and Landscape Ecology Research Laboratory over at Carleton. This is me volunteering for a PhD candidate who is the organizer of the Ottwawa Breeding Bird Count (and annual project starting up) over at http://www.glel.carleton.ca/ottawabirds/index.html
This is priceless experience for both GIS and ecology which is so necessary for my resume should i want a job. It's relatively enjoyable and i feel productive for once. I know generally what i am doing and i am making some headway.
So why in blazes do i feel so horrid about this. I feel as if i were procrastinating on the night before an exam or before a massive paper was due. I am feeling poor about my lack of work when i am in actuality being productive on something more worthwhile then any of my normal work.
Gyah!
