Appologies for the Kanatatonia remarks

I have been thinking and looking around Kanata of late and I must admit that the place isn't nearly as bad as I had made it sound. I mean, I was walking my mothers dog today and found a decent chunk of green space (Hazeldean Woods). It was downright serene and was something resembling decent ecology/planning. I have been too critical of little Kanata, while it is far too car-dependent and the suburban cookie-cutters suck I have not been fair. It's not the place for me anymore, but it is decent enough.

Oh, I also got some free powertools on one of the "take away for free" deals on a front lawn. Bloody heavy, but once they are charged I will see if they function and I have gotten a couple hundred dollars worth of tools. :)

Sweet, they work

So my find this morning paid off. Power drill, jigsaw and power sander + flashlight working off power packs making them nice and cordless. They are relatively cheap normally (one set going on Kijii for 55$) but it should be perfect considering the amount that I will likely be using them.
