Cross-epoch foods
Apr. 5th, 2009 09:24 pmMy body and my brain are in totally different epochs. My brain is that of a chef, or at the very least a short order cook. I fill my home with sauces, meats, beans and vegetables. I purchase at good deals and freeze for later use. I acquire "lazy" foods such as high quality pierogies, frozen pizzas (also good deals) and the like.
My body doesn't realize this and is still stuck in feast or famine mode. I am very rarely physiologically hungry and I often have to remind myself to eat because logically, one ought to consume more then 2 coffees in a day. Especially after an hour and a half of martial arts. I still have stockpiles of meat in specific and food in general left uneaten, enough that I could live comfortably for a month solid without leaving my place.
I do wish that the brain and the body were in sync, for that would make things better. It would also help if I was preparing food for others rather then just myself.
