Minutae of the Minute

Working backwards appears to be the best approach with regards to recent events. Today was indeed my first day at the new job and other then the information overload, it has gone well. Yes, some of the more down to earth factors, such the bureaucratic nature of the position, did become evident. Still, I think that I will feel rewarded once I have been working away at this job for a while and know what is up. I have a whole 9 days of overlap with the person I am replacing and I am taking advantage of that to the greatest extent possible. In order to continue my position for more then four months though, I need to improve my spoken french and pass a test. Audiobooks, rampant spoken french, movies and books will be consumed over then next few months.

I have managed to acquire a bit of time with Eve, including bringing her to the game day over at Dagibbs. She seemed to hit it off with the entire crowd and the entire time was enjoyed by all. I will most certainly drag her over to a number of other game days. I am considering running a few game days including possibly some rpg's, in french so that she could participate more easily and a number of interested parties could work on our french in a more casual setting. You know, if other people are actually interested. Your amount of french spoken french wouldn't really matter, though some understanding would help.

Now back to our previously scheduled writing and art, half for my second business and half for outstanding work.
