I have been told informally that I have gotten into the pool for the PC-03 position up north. In GovSpeak, this is doubleplus good. It means I will soon be on a list of approved candidates. The managers for the two current positions will be able to pluck candidates from that list and offer them the positions.
If they do pull me from the list, I may start a position up in Yellowknife or Iqaluit. If not, I will try to use this list as leverage so as to get a roughly equivalent position down south. Either way, my prospects are much better tonight then they were this morning.
