The door hates me

There is a delightful sensor beam at work at about chest height. Every customer who enters or leaves trips the beam and the number of sales are compared to the traffic. Naturally enough, us staff duck under the beam so as to not screw up the stats and result in secret shoppers.

I did that on wednesday morning, but unfortunately wound up screwing up the procedure. More precisely, i struck the left side of the metal doorframe with the front right portion of my head, just barely extending below the hairline. It made a resounding noise and hurt like all hell, but it was only surface damage really. Tis sore and has a hell of a mark, but thats it. While the other staff asked if i was ok, i was on the ball enough to reply "I'm still conscious and thats typically a good sign."

Tomorrow will be a long day but the convocation is after that. :)
