A most enjoyable BBQ

jagashAttended a BBQ over being hosted by the Iaido sensei, one of those annual things with beer, burgers and sharp weapons. It was fun and relaxing social activity which I missed, without any awkwardness which is a refreshing change. Also gave me some practice in Iaido, Kendo, Jodo and Aikido. Yes, 4-6 Aikido practitioners where showing me the ropes. It was quite enjoyable, though I am still aching from the rolls which I attempted on the grass.
It was nice to relax and to try out some new martial arts when it's all said and done. I also managed to get back home so that I could be social with the friends of the family who have been staying here since Wednesday. Unfortunately the guests + monday language test have kept me from the second saturday night of revamp but I can forsee no problems in attending next saturday night.
