Well, I can't publicly discuss Canadian federal politics in a partisan manner due to the whole being part of the executive branch of the government and all that. I am however fully within my rights to post links to two non-partisan sites which I found both useful and neat in concept.

The first site is http://www.votepair.ca/
It functions based off the honour system, whereby an individual in one riding may functionally "trade" their votes with someone else in another riding. For example, say that Person 1 is choosing between party A or B in their riding but B has a better chance of winning in that riding. They find someone who is interested in voting for B and might be in a place where A has a better chance of winning. They trade votes and there is much less vote splitting accordingly. Tough to implement and based on the honour system but it's a neat concept. It's a sign that electoral reform is on some people's minds.

The second site is http://www.voteenvironment2008.ca/
Effectively a non-partisan site stating each parties environmental policies and statements for those who wish to consider the Environment in their vote. Haven't looked at it in detail but it seems useful.

In other news, the final sign-off on my apartment on monday after work since I have passed their screening criteria.
