Two, two, two tasks in one: pony beside themselves and pony over the moon. So you get an anguished foal bawling like a calf while sitting over three moons. One moon is mostly hidden under Princess Luna's tail. Now the question is why is Princess Luna giving pony rides?

With Calpain whispering into the ear of our prompt master, we got saddled with a pair of idioms that have no business in a drawing challenge: jumping to conclusions and a leap of faith. Faced with the options of drawing a pony jumping a moat to reach the town of Conclusions or drawing Faith plummeting to her death, Faith was easier. I did most of the pencil work on time but it was only today that I finished it up. The submitter for day 6 is still open for a few more hours, so, success! Challenge met.



And presto! Yakutian snow pony chilling in the snow, where it's chilly. Since chilling = resting and thus doesn't require props like an ice box or chili or bubble gum or such the like, I went with that. It was the lesser of two weevils. I chose a Yakutian snow pony, for emphasis. Alas, snow is not easy to draw.

Day 2 it was pony moving and walking, Day 4 it was pony trotting and walking and now for Day 5 it's sprinting and running for their lives. The record is skipping, skipping, skipping. 9_9 But... Running for their lives? That's Iron Maiden, 1982! Run to the hills, run for your lives. This appeals to my inner rage at genocide and my annoyance at getting asked for the same thing three times out of five. So there you are, album art from Iron Maiden, Run To The Hills. Better muzzle, nostrils OK but not the eye-like nostrils from day 1, can't get my eyes the same size (maybe I should use a template or a bottle cap). The prompt asked for facial expressions, I went with "funny expression", expecting it to be easier. Not sure how to fill in the nostrils and ears. Black? Brown? Pink?
