End of the Timbit
Jul. 8th, 2007 07:41 pmI gave them my availability, they scheduled my outside of it. I gave them a list of the specific days which i was able to work, and they scheduled me on a day not on that list. Accordingly, i am going into work tonight. I will work a full shift then hand in my letter of resignation + hat at exactly 7am tomorrow morning.
I was angry during the end of my shift. This would be a normal reaction for most people, but i don't get angry. It's rare as hens teeth to actually see me angry but i was during the last hour of my shift. If i was a lesser man i would have told him where to shove it. If i was some people i would have slugged him. Instead i am taking the respectful route. He may not appreciate it, but i will be able to look at myself in the mirror with pride rather then shame.
Yeah, i am so a pride/fortitude.
One upside is my tuesday will only be a little hellish rather then extremely so. Yay for registering for classes, arguing with 2 departments + registrar, dentist appointment then a physics lecture.
