Done the Demonic Deed
Aug. 2nd, 2009 11:58 pmOk, I have spent the last half a decade working on this little thing called the Sundered Heavens, a prehistory expansion for the D:tF RPG. I have, as of this evening, complete the final summary of the work and have sent it off to my partner in crime. While it was an abandoned project, we still did managed to get more then 34k worth of corebook written which isn't too shabby for a couple of neophytes. It gives me hope for my own publishing endeavor, now that I know that I can actually produce decent amounts of material. I am also seeing some of the design elements in their first incarnation in the Sundered Heavens material, later used as the kernal of my current project.
This means I am finally done and I may rest. It's also handy that I had managed to jury rig up my work surface and general routine in manner conducive to writing. Having a pot of green or lemongrass tea on a tv tray beside the computer does a great deal to help me out creatively, as would the particulars of my coffee machine.
Now I shall rest. Tomorrow will have biking in the morning, possibly writing a contract, possibly writing some more of the content of my current project then dashing off to some board gaming. Huzzah!
