Yay, i have been showered with gifts for no apparent reason. Some of the more interesting ones include.

• 25$ well spent gift certificate at Ebookwise (Thank you Antra)
• Sundiver by David Brin (Thanks Ben)
• 10$ of Tim Hortons gift certificats
• Lila; an Inquiry into Morals by Robert Pirsig
• A 1 gig usb key, capable of holding tons of portable aps (including open office and the gimp) with 500 mg to spare.  I also now have an extra 512mg usb drive which might be used for linux or additional storage.
• A pair of nice coffee mugs, one of which is from the delightfully kind Christina.
• A CD of classical music
• 55$ worth of booze gift cards at the LCBO
• A toaster oven for my eventual freedom
• A Hanbo (3 foot stick) from Sei do Kai
• A new tsuba (hand guard) from Sei do Kai
• A plastic saya for my boken (sheath) from Sei do Kai
• A tanto (wooden knife, apparently free thanks to the kind people at Sei do Kai)

Yeah, i have a good number of weapons at my disposal now.  And due to a 10% gift certificate, i also purchased about 125$ worth of stuff from e-bogu.com.   Meaning that i will be getting the following gear within a week's time, almost entirely paid for by the sale of the gaming books to Josh via Kerry.

• Budo Bag (for uniforms)
• Top Quality Navy Blue Tetron Hakama
• Navy Blue Single Layer Kendo Kendogi
• A pair of escrima sticks
• A new Jo, this one at the slightly different aikido standards

So yeah, at the end of the day i will have 1 bo, 1 hanbo, 2 jo, 1 tanto, 1 shinai and 4 ratan escrima sticks.  :)    Woot for arming a small army.  :P
