Good news, finally employed

jagashI am finally employed, as Danier leather just hired me. There is good and bad to this, but the good dramatically outweighs the bad imo. The good includes getting paid, the fact that the manger is (sounding) reasonable in terms of hours and scheduling on a whole. I even get my thursdays off so that i can volunteer for the conservation authority without a problem (as that is a very useful thing for my career). In general, all is right with the world. :)
I will get hours a-plenty around my schedule and she tries to rotate weekends. I will probably work a decent bit, including this upcoming long weekend next friday, saturday and sunday since everyone will be off at the wedding anyways. First shift is tuesday morning before class. One downside is that i will likely be working every other saturday afternoon or so and accordingly i will likely have to drop out of Dekalyptos unless Frances is able to cope with that kind of insanity for scheduling.
Oh, and i also get a shiny 35-50% discount which will be handy. Only 35% off the nice leather trench i am considering, but i can handle that. And now i get to take money out for a night on the town in Josh's honour.
