An evening of self abuse

jagashSo I spent most of the evening coding in Visual Basic for a data handling application. It hurts as much as it sounded like, especially with the fun new rules and regs behind the specific interfaces I was using. while there are some handy elements to the language, it is both wasteful and has thrown needless brickwalls in my way the entire time.
I mean, I'm no programmer but it shouldn't be _that_ hard to choose one option from a list. Honestly.
Oh well, I believe that I have gotten the essentials in order for the program to work properly. Das is good since I need to finish the program asap. The last day when I can get help from my prof is thursday and I would like to have a completed program by then so he can check it over.
