One door closed as I approach another

jagashSo I didn't manage to get the GT-02 enforcement officer position. On one hand, I wish that I had gotten an actual permanent job. I would have had to move, learned a great deal and generally have moved on with my life. On the other hand, I now get to stop worrying about leaving the city in the near future. I am relatively assured that I will stay local, at least for the short term. More importantly, I know.
Now I just need to deal with the purchasing interview tomorrow. With luck, that one will turn out better then this one did.
Matters would also be much better if I had something other then a flaky 1 meg shaped internet connection. Bloody hell, it's not like that is too much to ask for 30+ dollars a month. Feck.
