Curse you Kemuel
May. 26th, 2005 10:57 am1) Total number of books I've owned?
Hmm, i approximate about 300-400 books. They are my addiction for certain.
2) The last book I bought?
Out of sheer technicality, Shadowrun 2nd Edition. That was the last book out of the pile of them purchased at Cangames.
3) The last book I read?
Forged in Dragon's Fire. It was as good as the reviews of it. *thumbs up*
4) Five books that mean a lot to me:
i. A Game of Thrones: This book taught me the true depth of character within humanity and the dance of political ambition. Its also brutally realistic, a plus.
ii. Lord of the Rings, Return of the King; Samwise Gamgee is my idol, what i wish i could be. This work has indeed influenced my personality and developement as a human being.
iii. Mage: the Ascension: There is hope through diversity, there is change though belief. All the worlds a stage and we are but playwrites in it. :)
iv. The Tales of Thomas Covenant the Unbeliever: This series tells the tale of the most moving anti-hero i have read. He is real, fallible yet reaching for redemption. Can't wait to read the last 4 books in the massive series.
v. Demon: the Fallen: The road to hell is paved with good intentions. This book of faith and horror, love and hate, hope and doom. Its the drive for redemption conflicted by the lure of damnation. Raise a fist to heaven or bare your blade at hell.
