Contemplation of my time
Aug. 16th, 2005 11:18 pmI was treking home from my stint at work (Read Dhampir btw M'Lady) when it struck me.
I am allured by many paradoxical things, elements which logically should be of no interest to me. I am fond of the urban twilight, the soft luminessence of the lights and signs in the dark night. It should be quiet, instead filled with many a chorus of chirping crickets and croaking frogs. It should be still, but it is full of movement. It should be forboding and fear-invoking, but its more comforting then broad daylight. At the same time, there are still strong elements of stillness, darkness and silence. The only thing which changes not is my comfort.
